(Mo-han-lian) Chinese medicinal herb. Liver and kidney tonic; prescribed for dizziness, blurry vision, headache, and premature greying of hair. Extract applied to the scalp promotes hair growth, and taken internally, blackens the hair, beard and eyebrows. Also astringent hemostatic.
